Create has been commissioned by Oaklands College to prepare a landscape design proposal.

The redevelopment includes the provision of facilities which are part of a wider site redevelopment. The new buildings and landscape will provide much-needed, modern, energy-efficient education buildings fit for the future education needs for the campus.

Our challenge therefore has been to maximise the site, to enhance the lives of those, studying, working and living on the campus and for visitors. We are aware of the site location within the Green Belt and have worked carefully to develop the landscape design cohesively. We have then sought to apply the aims of preparing a design in a complementary style to the new proposed buildings, that works with the current site layout and the future masterplan and one that supports maximum bio-diversity and sustainability.
