STC Merton Hospitality Block

The project consisted of a new build extension to South Thames College’s Merton campus in order to create a specialist hospitality and catering academy. Construction took place whilst the college remained in operation and was completed in time for the 2013/2014 academic year.

The designed building provides top-class accommodation for catering training that includes conferencing and seminar facilities, professionally equipped training and pastry kitchens, flexible teaching space and a bistro-style restaurant serving the public.

Create worked with the college, project team and contractor to provide full planning, architectural and interior design services for the project.
